In our case, the transfer embargo was forced upon us unfairly by the SFA as a condition of our club's full SFA membership being transferred to the new company. In other words, the SFA blackmailed Rangers into accepting an unfair transfer embargo. Correct. The SFL had this sanction available to them. In our case, as was proven in court, the SFA disciplinary tribunal didn't have this option.
