Scottish FA considering investigation into Rangers links with Whyte

Recommended Posts

How many more times? Sevco5088 doesn't & never did own Rangers. Sevco Scotland bought Rangers & its assets. Whyte had nothing to do with either company unless you want to believe in forged documents. Do you seriously believe D&P would have allowed Rangers to be bought by a company which involved Whyte after the SFA gave him a life ban?

Has it been proven that the documents were forged? Has Green come out and made that claim?

What is it really that they are investigating? What exactly is the problem? It seems incredibly arbitrary to me and at worst we could be found guilty of "having directors of Rangers who had previous (and seemingly essential) dealings with the previous owner of the club with the actual crime being that he is a guy the SFA don't like."

it depends whats in that report that we aren't allowed to see. but what you say seems about right. hes clearly not involved now so whats to investigate.

personally i want to know what went on and if the sfa want to spend money revealing that i will be happy. i can't at all how it will have any bearing on us currently and as such it's a waste of sfa time and money but thats up to them.

no one has claimed it and to me given the volume and supporting evidence of documentation we have it seems incredibly unlikely to me they are fakes.

His denial through the club seems clear enough.

However, Rangers have cast doubt on the validity of the documents.

A club statement said: "Mr Green is appalled by this blatant attempt to discredit him. These documents are not correct or valid and he did not sign Craig Whyte or his associate on as directors of Sevco 5088.

a rather long winded way of not saying that signature is a fake.
