Scottish FA considering investigation into Rangers links with Whyte

Recommended Posts

Another invesitgation doesn't suit us or the SFA. I'd be surprised if the club has not relayed details of the key findings from the PM/Deloitte review in order to hopefully satisfy them that Whyte has no legitimate claim on the club.

It is important to remember that the findings of the PM/Deloitte review were examined and verified by a hugely respected legal figure, Roy Martin QC. Agree with Stewarty, it is unlikely that even the SFA would be prepared to challenge the opinion of Mr Martin.

Really ? they ignored the ruling of a Law Lord and insisted their reading of the situation was included in the 5 way agreement, despite the Law Lord saying it was outwith their remit, seems we will never learn.

We don't know what these findings said yet re Whyte's involvement (if any) last year. This is what the SFA are looking at. We only know what they say about now.

Another statement that seems clear enough.

Scotsman (Sport): Green ‘vindicated’ as probe finds no Whyte links

FORMER Rangers chief executive Charles Green believes he has been vindicated by the outcome of an independent inquiry which found no evidence that ex-owner Craig Whyte invested in the current Ibrox set-up.

Despite the fact that they were made to look like bumbling fools, I think there's a wee bit more measured vindictiveness in the air these days.

Does that mean they're reformed? Well - I doubt it. We'll just have to settle for more cautious and careful in the meantime.

As regards us? Never in our history has "Ready" been more appropriate.
