Ally - Will he or won't he?

Recommended Posts

Always time for an Ally bashing thread, eh lads? Out of all the youngsters that played last year, how many do you feel really have a future at rangers? I'd say McLeod and less so McKay. The rest of them were uninspiring. But hey ho Ally has made some quality signings so the least we can do is find a way to belittle him for it.

Last season he may not have had the time to develop some of the youngsters although I personally dont think the coaching team is near strong enough to improve them other than their own natural ability to improve. That is disappointing. The likes od Durrant's comments were also disappointing saying these players need to realise what its like playing for Rangers and handle the pressure. Whilst that is true there is ways going about it rightly.

A few of them were thrown in with no option due to injuries and squad size so not all of them are going to be stars. If we get 2-4 are first teams we'd be doing a good job.

Steven Smith: We Can Help Gers' Kids

STEVEN SMITH hopes Rangers signing more experienced players this summer can help the younger stars at Ibrox to keep developing and build on the strides they made last season.

Full-back Smith checked into Murray Park this morning with the Light Blues first-team squad for the first day of pre-season training.
