Why Green acted now.

With the new squad being unable to be fielded until September, August was always going to be a case of grit your teeth and bear it. Hence Green had to act before McCoist could get his first 11 on the pitch. How many of the fans would still be worrying about the Forfar result if the new team looks good on the pitch performance wise after the start of September. If the new squad does well it would have weakened Green's hand, if he can remove McCoist before this he can put it down to whoever the yes man that he would bring in doing a great job.

To all of those who want McCoist out be very careful what you wish for.

Bollox, Greens actions were solely a reaction to the requisition from McColl & Co.

Aye, Green was so smart he knew the team would lose to Forfar...

As we couldn't field the new players everybody with a brain knew there was a good chance we would lose some games between now and when they become available for selection. Hence Green gives his interview to stir the shit. The only way our club is going to be settled is for motor mouthed Green to leave before he can do too much more damage.

Are you saying we have a god given right to beat Forfar? On paper we should have beat them, but we don't play football on paper do we. I for one am not arrogant enough to expect that we will win every game, take into consideration we are going through a transition phase plus the fact that to a team like Forfar this is like their cup final so they'll play out of their skins. As they say "in life shit happens".

For all that is said against Green one thing is for sure he's a wily old bird, He came back in quick time and the first thing he did was attack his opponents weakest link. Ally and his team. A gambling man would have put a few pounds on Rangers getting beat on Saturday, that's what Green did metaphorically with his weekend statement, if Rangers had won it would have been a simple GIRUY from Ally, but the team losing set the blue touch paper off, from Ally, first round to Chuck. We need to stop believing Chuck's simple bluff Yorkshire man patter and treat him seriously imo.
