Nowhere near the same level.

For the past 15 years we've been paying most of our players 20k plus to beat players on 1k or 2k if they're lucky.

Agree the gulf in wages will be smaller. Will still give us an advantage in quality of squad/player to stroll the championship.

And we'll still be vastly outspending all the teams in our league next season.

We are Rangers FC though and do not cater to the "masses" that follow Queen of the South, East Fife or Falkirk.

The current team is good enough for this and next season. We can recruit a few "gems" from January onwards, but I doubt that we need any or will sign any. I would also assume that the management has learned from previous shortcomings in terms of player deals and will restrict any over-spending. If things go to plan, we'll have real business-men at the helm.

True.

Ally sees his job is to put the best team out on the pitch at all times and at all costs,it will be our boards duty to make sure we don't over spend like before.

The team is good enough. Whether the management team is good enough is something else entirely.

I'm sure we will win the championship or whatever the hell it's now called, it just won't be a walk in the park and there will be a lot of dropped points IMO.

Don't see much difference between that league and the SPL
