A long line of quality strikers like Eto'o, Torres, Shevchenko, Crespo etc have bombed at Chelsea. Only Drogba has been the real success story. Demba Ba has been crap too but he wasn't that great to begin with and was a poor signing.

 

Suarez is a real elite player in the form of his life. If Chelsea signed him they would be a real threat in the CL. Failing that, they should splash the cash on Zlatan or Falcao.

Torres has been so poor there. Granted he isn't the same player he was at Liverpool but I still think he would score goals for fun at Man United or Arsenal.

 

Imagine Liverpool had Torres and Suarez at the same time at their peak!

 

As things stand Suarez would go for 85 million now, but depends what clauses he has in his new contract.
