Unfortunately wouldn't make an April date, Im not over until May 15. It would have been good to meet a number of you on here. Ive not met anyone on here for 10 years since I saw Frankie at the Porto game in 2004.

 

In saying that I met Eightball a few years ago when he was on holiday here.

 

I did have a number of PM's to the effect that we needed to avoid May in order to ensure that you cold not attend :D

 

That said, I'm sure an overseas dinner could be arranged, and Porto (which is the only European venue I have ever gone back to on holiday) seems as good a place as any. There's a good choice of restaurants on the north side of the river in the Ribeira near where Goram famously danced on the tables the night before the match in 2005.

I agree with your last sentiment though the number of votes doesn't necessarily reflect the numbers who might attend as some had no preference on dates.

 

Anyway it's a decisive victory for 26 April 2014 with almost 70% of the votes cast.

 

So Andy and I will go ahead and plan on that basis and we will incorporate contingencies in case the date or time of the game is moved.

 

I would hope to be able to post a menu and firm price within the next 7/10 days.

 

Can I just check whether dinner is still on the menu?

 

Know that you've got a lot on with Rangers First at the moment.

Thanks, yes it is, at least as far as I am concerned.

 

I spoke to the restaurant owner at the weekend and he has assured me he will get back to me this week with a menu and price.

 

Sorry for the delay.

 

Hi BH. Is this still a tacos/paella thing?

Excellent by me if it is.
