Defender move played down Tue, Jan 09 2007 17:51

The agent of Andy Todd says his client would be interested in a switch to Rangers but insists no approach has been made yet.

Todd has been strongly linked with a switch to Ibrox during the January transfer window but as far as his agent Peter Harrison is concerned, no approach has been made.

Even so, Harrison has claimed the defender would be interested if the Gers did make a bid.

"Obviously Rangers are a massive club and I'm sure Andy would be interested if they made an approach," Harrison revealed. "He has one year left on his contract and wants to know what the future holds and if Rovers' manager (Mark Hughes) sees him in his long-term plans.

"At the moment Andy is a Blackburn player. He has forced his way back into the team following injury and suspension. I am unaware of any approach from Rangers."
