Did Advocaat do that? he lost out to a mediocre Martin O'Neill team FFS and then jumped ship.How many millions did he have? Yes, there seems to be some selective memory going on re DA. He lost 6-2 to the timz (maybe 5-1 as well) while vastly outspending them. O'kneel blew him away and DA's respone? A cuddle for the Martian after he'd beaten us once again. Well, while you are right when it comes to Manchester 2008, it would do well to remind oneself that the competition and opposition is quite different every single season in Europe. You can end up playing four half-decent sides on your way to a final with your own team clicking. Or you can end up in a CL group phase with Italian, German and Spanish high-flyers while your own expansive team don't get their act together in time.
