boabie 230
On this day 1964 we had a great victory away in Vienna. Unfortunately we lost Slim Jim to a broken leg at the end of the match. http://rangers.co.uk/news/rangers-tv/day-rapid-vienna-1964/?

I remember post match we discussed how the 2 goals lost could end up costing us due to the way they worked out goal difference back in those days.

Bearman 9
On this day back in 1967 the teddy bears thrashed Raith rovers 10-2 with fergie scoring a hatrick... ...also made it 14 opening league games unbeaten and going strong, won 12 drew 2. Fast forward four months going into the final match..played 33 Won 28 Draws 5 Lost 0...if we had won our last game we still wouldn't have been Champs anyway...tough times. Bearman 9
At the end of that particular season Benfica made an approach for Andy Penman and Willie Johnston but were told to sling their hook.
