Will new 'value' transfer approach yield dividends?

Recommended Posts

The reason is obvious. They think average performing players from leagues 1 and 2 in England are good enough for the premier in Scotland. I think they are massively under rating the competition we will face and the demands that will be placed upon his players. I doubt very much they fully understand how teams will raise their game against us.

In my opinion TB the fact that players are coming from leagues 1 or 2 in England should not mean their personal abilities should be discarded. Yes I'd love to see us sign top notch rated players with international reputations. But we just do not have that sort of cash. Even when we did we wasted a great deal of it too on some guys who quite simply disappointed. Man management also plays a good part in the success of a team. There are many examples of undertalented players becoming long time successes at clubs. We are where we are.

Have no problem with MW signing policy but adverse reaction from AS Executive re Windass and Crooks makes me woory that they might not get good game time down there and make things harder to settle in when they come.

With the the amount were spending on the players were bringing in your on a winner if you can sell one for a couple of mill..

I am disapointed that the likes of hardie and murdich are being overlooked though. I would like to see more home grown talent in the side.

Perhaps MW doesn't think Murdoch & Hardie are good enough?
