Derek Johnstone: Lee Wallace Scotland snub is a kick in the teeth for Rangers captain

Recommended Posts

Just another example of their incompetence which all of the other Scottish clubs are happy to go along with as well as dumb & dumber raking millions of pounds out of Scottish football and into their personal bank accounts!,disgraceful.

Rangers playing good and walk over Dundee and all of a sudden they talk of drug testing. Has paranoia set in?

Delighted, from a selfish point of view, that no Gers players are in the full squad.

Disappointing for the players though. Lets see if they get ignored next season if we are up challenging. Only then will we find out what a lot of fans are thinking ie. an anti Rangers agenda at sfa.

Is the lack of drug testing not down to the SFA having to pay for it?,ie: they don't want to spend cash?,or can't afford to spend cash?

The body in charge of testing were quoted directly yesterday as saying. "If you want more testing , put your hands into your pockets and pay for it."

I can understand where DJ is coming from to an extent. Not so much with Wallace, Andrew Robertson is a good left back, playing at a higher level than we are and currently first choice. However how John McGinn can get a call up before O'Halleron, Holt and McKay is an utter mystery. To be honest I don't think any player from the Scottish second flight should be getting into our full international side, ours players included. Shinnie at Aberdeen is a surprise omission as are Arfield and Rhodes. The lad Tierney might become a great player but he should be in the under 21s just now.

How Whittaker, Mulgrew and Hutton are in that squad is a mystery.
