My brother is 10 years younger than me and back in the seventies used to stand down at the front at matches. It always troubled me when I saw numbskulls throwing bottles from half way up the terracing. Did those clowns really think they had a chance of hitting somebody at the opposite end of a stadium ?

 

I think some just forget it's not just their opposites in the stands, there are children, disabled supporters etc. People who are not as able to defend themselves. More so at a cup final for example.

Are they also able to take sanctions on those who were wearing green and white hoops and flying tri-colours or are they another version of their kits?
