Hamilton 1-0 Sheep

Devlin(9 min)

God-awful to watch. Rooney did hit the post with a header at the 20 min. mark. Mostly one-way traffic from the Sheep and Hamilton giving it the big punt out of defence.

Cringeworthy to think we are in third place behind this mob. McInnes can stay where he is if this is his best effort.

79 min. Sheep goal offside.

84 min MacKinnon (Ham) sent off - second yellow.

Corners 20 - 0 for sheep.

FT still 1 - 0 Hamilton.

Poor finishing by the Sheep. Seen this movie before with the Gers.

Aye!, no doubt it was a good result for us, and I'm sure they will get beat a few times more before the end of the season, the ball is in our court to go on a winning streak, something we have not been on this season, however tomorrow night is a good place to start!.

Maybe this provides a bit of perspective following the Caley result.

We all want the team to be better than they are, but European qualification - even second place - is not out of our reach.

We may be shit (by our standards), but a good (by their standards) Aberdeen team is in the same overall ball park of shit. If that makes sense.

The main reason why the Yahoos are so far in front is that any of the "better" sides can't turn chances into goals, or have any great quality to beat simple, but effective defending. Any of the lower ranked teams can take points off the top teams and even the Yahoos did not exactly run the lower clubs over at their grounds. Thus, there is indeed a lot of football to be played this season in the "race" for Europe or against relegation, as results can very well go either way.
