They threw Scottish farmers under a bus at the height of the Foot and Mouth outbreak. Ten million beasts destroyed, columns of smoke from numerous funeral pyres blighted the skyline. Sellik took out full page adverts in newspapers to assure their support that all meat and fishery products served at kiosks and hospitality restaurants, were 100% Irish sourced.
