Ok ok I know we are not exactly lush with internationalists in the spl but I'm sure that's where it came from originally I think it's the other way about. Most people go away for a week or two between May and September, meaning they won't get to games. I suspect this is a reason why Summer football is less likely. A lot of people go away for a week or two in the winter too! Imagine how many kids you could get along to Ibrox for a midweek game in July (school hols) when it's much nicer weather than mid-December when kids usually have a lot going on with school events, parties, panto etc.Or for the adults, much nicer to stand in the Louden beer garden with shades on instead of gloves and thermals! 0 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
