Conte is the type of manager to use a players' specific skill-set to the teams advantage -- see Victor Moses. Chelsea do need a bounce-board for Hazard, Pedro, Willian etc., and they do play a lot of crosses into the box; there is no one better than Carroll in an aerial battle. 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Gribz 743 Posted January 16, 2018 Share Posted January 16, 2018 Carroll can be unplayable on his day but he struggles to make double figures in games. I like him as a player and Im hoping he stays. A front 4 for West Ham of Arnautovic, Lanzini, Antonio and Carroll can upset a lot of teams. A good player but has one of the worst injury records ever. Could do a job for Chelsea as a plan B.
