Development Squad Programme Fixture Release

Recommended Posts

I haven't really looked into the whole '' development squad '' set up but I tell you what it's a decent set of games. Has anyone asked the lads how they feel about it and if they feel like they're improving/learning any better or worse as players? Not a bad life eh, playing for the Rangers and travelling the world playing a game you love for the club you love.

FC Utrecht on march the 11th would have been great for me except I will be in Scotland.

Pete, that game is at Ibrox - I am home then too and considering heading along to it - it is the day after the OF game.

Just seen that Craig will it be at Auchinhowie or Ibrox?

That's a great fixture list and what an opportunity these boys are getting by playing against some of the biggest clubs in he world.  I too will attend some of these games.  I think it's fair to say that we will get to see some of the stars of tomorrow, for our own team and elsewhere.  PSG! United!  Brilliant.

If we do return to the home-based league next season, it'll be a massive drop in quality of opposition.  I keep thinking that young players will be more likely to want to join us if we can offer them these types of games rather than against some of our lower league clubs.

So far the home games have been at Ibrox I believe.

My niece lives up near Auchinhowie and I will be staying 10 minutes on the Subway from Ibrox so there is a good chance I will go if it is open for supporters.
