I wouldn't say John is a nightmare but he's just no very good. I don't really see what he brings, he's not exactly a flying wingback with a lethal Cross, he doesn't make late runs into the advanced areas and I think I can count on one hand the amount of shots he has had. As for defending, well, he's no Stuart Munro, is he.

Wallace is sorely missed.

The only full game I've seen this season is Celtic but I thought John was very good against them. Having said that they made Youssouf Mulumbu look like Iniesta last weekend so maybe that wasn't the best game to judge him.

I will be glad when Wallace is back and John is sitting on the bench. Wallace is not great but John is a nightmare

I never understand why so many players arrive in a flurry of good performances, then sink into mediocrity after ten games. For a while I thought Declan John was a big improvement on Lee Wallace but he has been atrocious lately. Inconsistency is a failing that is soon exposed at Rangers.

As I keep saying the mental side has a lot to do with it,when John arrived he had no one in front of him so he had a lot of work to do,ok Windass was there (but you know what I mean) and now he has Murphy who works hard.

So mentally he must be toiling:laugh2::laugh2:.
