The Blatt's Editor is Neil McKay, he has NOT been seen at Herald Towers since the last week in May. We are told Neil is suffering from a stress related illness. Haggerty's appointment as News Editor was McKay's decision. I fear spectacular mis-management of the paper may lead to it's demise. Probably, we are talking fifty jobs, and then the knock-on effect thereafter. This happens when you give someone a crucial designation within the organisation that has little experience and is bereft of the appropriate qualifications. Neil McKay has lacked the necessary responsibility.
