Herrera moves back to Mexico on loan

Recommended Posts

What galls me most with Herrera and Cummings is the lack of proper gam time they got. And by proper I mean playing with two strikers rather than a host of "attackers" who were all over the place and quite often not where it mattered. It is kind of ironic that I actually believe that Cummings and Herrera would have worked rather well together up front, something that would have given Morelos a much needed break as he was running on empty  since late January.

If you dont think there is a difference between a player who for no reason other than a shortage of ability, and a manager who recklessly spends the transfer budget he has been given, spending a large part of it on a player he knew had alcohol related problems - then we will have to agree to disagree.

He obviously spent the transfer budget in the way he thought would bring him success.  He did his best, or do you know something we don't?

And as for spending all that money on someone he knew had alcohol problems, isn't that what Smith did with Gazza?  It worked out for Smith.  I wish it had worked for Pedro too, but it didn't unfortunately.

I am happy to disagree though.  It's about opinions afterall.

Gaffer,

Gazza's first admission to The Priory Hospital due to his condition, was October 1998.

He signed for Rangers in July 1995.

What's your point caller?  Smith knew he had a 'problem' before he joined Rangers.  That's all I said.

I think the point is obvious - but I'll leave it there

???  I've no idea what your point is to be honest, but I'm happy if you leave it there too.
