PRESS CONFERENCE | Gerrard and Goldson | 22 Aug 2018

Recommended Posts

It's a huge four games coming up.  Two legs against Ufa (which could have a huge impact on our season) and Motherwell and Celtc away.

SG has given me confidence we can qualify and get decent results.

I can't wait to get back to Ibrox tomorrow.

So he said Lafferty "will be involved" tomorrow night. Presumably on the bench.

Seems likely, but I also wouldn’t be surprised if Stevie G plays him upfront with Morelos to try to secure a good margin of victory and take the pressure off the return leg, especially since we have arguably our biggest test 3 days after that return leg. The good thing with our manager is he is comfortable playing different formations depending on the task and opposition. Having said that, it may be too soon to test that out in what would be KLs debut.

I would love to see him up front with Morelos though that may take time to gel. Having a partner like that to play off and to draw off defenders could potentially elevate Morelos to a 30+ goals a season striker.
