Over on FF they have a daily thread with newspaper snapshots. Today's is mainly filled with pages upon pages that St. Johnstone's Clarke attacking Defoe and the SFA to hand a ban to Jermaine for diving, citing Jones' ban as a reason.

Much of it is probably just mhedia trying to push the paranoid into a frenzy - though I haven't read Clarke's comments or saw Jones' "dive". He probably just wants a level-approach on things rather than having Defoe banned.

The media-murder of Dallas was to be expected and one wonders how the SFA will react to this wave after wave of attack.

It's a ridiculous comparison. Jones' dive was embarrassing and fully deserving of a ban, the defender didn't even make a challenge he just fell over as he ran by him. The defender did make a challenge on Defoe, he stuck out his leg after the ball had gone past and blocked his path. It's ridiculous to give those comments so much coverage.

Clarke's talking about refs and Rangers because that means he doesn't need to explain how his side lost to Hearts on Friday.

Also making sure the Ref will give no penalties against Killie on Saturday. i am sure that is the reason for his involvement.

You would think he could have been bothered to turn up to the recent meeting and voice his concerns instead of spouting off in the press!
