Bill 13,717
Finally a club has gained promotion to the SPFL system. It's a bit of farce of a system that's left the Highland League a club short and (presumably) the Lowland League with a club too many. Nevertheless, it's progress of a sort. I went to see Cove at Peterhead a couple of weeks ago. They were the better team on the day, despite losing 2-1 and I thought they would have no trouble holding their own at this level. After a draw with ICT, Cove might even be favourites to get back-to-back promotions. The Rangers from Aberdeen. Who'd have thought?
Scott7 7,032
I wish them an immediate return, not to the mis-named Highland League, but to Aberdeen Juniors. Losing by just 2-3 in inverness demonstrates how dire ict are.
Rousseau 12,288
I've seen the Sky Sports ticker, showing the Scottish League Cup scores, go past about three times, and each time I've thought, 'Oh--were we playing Raith today?'. Cove Rangers. Aren't Raith in the Championship? Cove just beat them 3-0.
