Alan Morton ,Davie Wilson ,Willie Waddell, Willie Henderson ,Tommy McLean to name a few at one time Scottish football was famous for its wingers usually wee made who could get down the wings run on to passes from half backs and inside forwards take their defenders on get to the goal line cut the ball back wonderful to watch but mostly they could all cross a ball to their team mates head or feet now I watch football and most of the crossing is dire to long to short to high some crosses are like rugby players looking for touch its dire dire dire

Lost count of the number of assists laid on by calamero in one season let alone over his career....agree he was the best crosser of a ball in all my years following Rangers.

I seen wee Davie Wilson a few weeks ago and I dont think he's an ounce over his playing weight,  wonder if he's still registered even in his eighties he might be a better option than some of the present lads ??????????
