I won't pretend to know a lot about Vos or Jacobs but their appointments suggest a move towards more faith in bringing through Academy players in the medium to longer term which has to be a good thing. Let's hope the very best Scottish players underpin such an outlook.

A really bold appointment. A very young guy with some new ideas around coaching. We have an issue bringing through youth players but the last few years the club have done lots of work in the background to try and change things. Can only give them credit for that.

A refresh of the academy leadership to align with Gio is encouraging.  Although clearly he'll be judged on young players making it to the first team squad and getting regular minutes.

Like the appointment of our new management team, this looks and feels like a very positive and forward thinking appointment by Ross Wilson and the club.

 

It almost feels like this is "the next phase" and it's certainly exciting times for us fans of the club.

Zebra Jacob's sounds like a character from Rawhide or the Wagon Train anyway good luck to him if he can bring forward the players of tomorrow then it will be a good addition  .
