As for Bassey, I can't see Ajax allowing him to go anywhere for now given their investment. They don’t have any centre backs and have been recently playing Bassey at lb despite buying a Dutch international Owen Wijndal LB in the summer. The manager doesn’t look like he will last paSt this season if they don’t pick up performances and their transfer business in general this summer seems to have not had the impact hoped.
