I suspect this is the reason for the delay and it’ll go through after this game, and Muscat will be here middle of next week to kick off as manager. Only sensible conclusion for the delay. If it were celement he could be announced any time.

Agreed, but is getting to a cup final something that would delay him leaving? I could see that if this game actually was the final....

The delay is that neither Bisgrove or Bennett can win by two clear points at rock, paper scissors to decide who gets to select new manager.

Maybe the negotiations and final decision are just taking some time and the board are going to pick the best man (available) for the job.

Reports down south suggesting we are interested in appointing Sam Jewell as DoF - that would be some achievement from thr board.
