What do you suggest? I’d consider black and white stripes or red and white stripes for a nano-second before rejection. Nothing else would get even that long.

It's only an opinion of course but I see ours as a blue shirt, white shorts and black socks with red tops. That was what I saw as a kid the first time I watched them run on to the park and it just became fixed in my brain forever. 

I agree and black and red is what I grew up with. Just think the red and white looked brilliant and always wondered why we deviated
