Dowell, Gentles, and Harkness stand out as having made particularly strong contributions especially Dowell in a short space of time . Davies and Fraser have no doubt gained valuable experience . Several other young players have gained useful playing time and shown potential yet is it enough to get into our team and replace the old with  the new, especially with young Fraser in our new approach or  do we just cut ties with the ones who have shown flair like Davies Dowell etc or give them one more chance, or are they just not suited to the Scottish Football game?
