Union Bear TIFO Statement

Recommended Posts

Maybe, those responsible for the making of the TIFOs meet with the fan representative of the club before creating these things, have a look and talk about it, so club and ULTRAs don't end up with arguments etc.. Aside from SFA/SPFL/UN/Scottish Minister/WWF going ballistic ...

They have done this previously but as their statement aludes to, they fell out with Rangers staff and board.

Their TIFOs are normally fantastic, with a couple of exceptions (but nobody is perfect).

They must be praised for the work, cost and dedication that goes into these displays.

Look forward to 2025/2026 being an exciting new chapter for the UBs.

Please give us some money so we can get the Copland Road stand shut down for an upcoming European game and a reduced capacity for Rangers fans at Hampden for cup ties?

Not a fecking chance. They should have been banned a long time ago when the club got fined again by UEFA for their stupid self-absorbed banners that were nothing to do with encouraging the team to play better, but all about them. And as for they feckin drums!!

Still cant understand why they will raise and spend small fortunes to put up banners for about 3 minutes prior to a game? What is the point apart from a wee photo for their tiktok?

Any comment on those (NOT UBs) who DID get sections closed sue to singing "banned sings" and still continue to sing TBBs?

Far greater danger than the UBs.

I have commented many times on that, and indeed played a part in trying to change attitudes and collectively bin the songs that got us banned back in the day, but that is not really the issue or the thread for that.

The UB are a real live danger to Rangers supporters being able to watch the team play this coming season. That is a simple fact. We are on our very last warning with UEFA, and unlike fans who may go in with a wee drink in them and sing songs spontaneously, the UB spend days preparing banners that get us fined, the premeditated nature of which should have seen them banned IMO.
