The UB are a real live danger to Rangers supporters being able to watch the team play this coming season. That is a simple fact. We are on our very last warning with UEFA, and unlike fans who may go in with a wee drink in them and sing songs spontaneously, the UB spend days preparing banners that get us fined, the premeditated nature of which should have seen them banned IMO. We have previous for TBBs and I'm astonished FARE haven't reported us, but it's just a matter of time. As it stands the UB have NOT been responsible for section / stand closures. The uber staunch / well sing what we want fans HAVE been. Having a "wee drink" and singing a song isn't an excuse. TBB's is creeping back into our song book and is prevalent at home European games and not from The UBs. Around me (BF4) it's fans that aren't there normally, only popping along for the Euro nights. Mostly drunk or coked up. No, both are the real live danger. But at least the UB have made it clear they are looking to clean up their act. Hopefully those who sing TBB will be as equally contrite.

Not a fecking chance. They should have been banned a long time ago when the club got fined again by UEFA for their stupid self-absorbed banners that were nothing to do with encouraging the team to play better, but all about them. And as for they feckin drums!! Still cant understand why they will raise and spend small fortunes to put up banners for about 3 minutes prior to a game? What is the point apart from a wee photo for their tiktok? Another one of these Scottish Nationalists has outed himself. 😂According to one on here.

Many/most of the instances of the disallowed songs from Euro homes games haven't been started by the UBs, as you say, but they certainly join in.

They do, as do the vast majority of those in attendance. I'm willing to bet if FARE do report us, the UBs will cop the blame (even from those indulging).

From where I sit, I can hear the UBs clearly, but not necessarily from all other parts of the ground. I'd say that a majority of fans don't join in.

I sit in BF4 and the vast majority in there join in. As does most of Broomie if I'm being honest. At Hampden for LCF this season, the entire Rangers end sang it, and it didn't start in UB section. I still think songs remain a more serious issue than flares and banners, I see it them as just a convenient stick to beat the UBs with whilst ignoring the songs and the potential repercussions of singing them. Maybe I'm just finding myself further and further removed from the "rank and file" Rangers support and their obsession with TBBs, the Pope and Bobby Sands. Whilst Londonderry On The Foyle and the links that have been adopted by the UBs, aren't traditional Rangers songs they are far removed from the "banned" songs. I long for the day we manged to sing Rangers songs for 90mins, but that day seems further away than ever.

When was the last time you heard Every Other Saturday or songs about our legendary players that used to be far more regular. A full 90 mins of non-stop Rangers songs without any anti-pope/ira, or TBB/YCV/UVF type stuff would be amazing. I think a section of our support forget the sanctions that we previously incurred. Many don't have any discipline when it comes to songs. It will come back and bite us. How hard is it not to sing about the pope or fenians, some of which are just embarrassing? There are plenty of other songs to pick from.
