stewarty 1,876 Posted February 29, 2008 Share Posted February 29, 2008 Not the result I expected or necessarily wanted a couple of weeks ago but since then he's got a goal and definitely has something to contribute so I think it's a good result for us in terms of squad strength with the upcoming games. Fifa really need to be taken to task though. They should have said yes or no during the transfer window instead of this one month later nonsense. The rules are clear, and although there are various arguments on their merits, Cousin did not meet the criteria to make the transfer. One other argument that you could make is that if the teams and player involved in the transfer were higher profile then the transfer could have been ratified.
