Darcheville's fitness

Recommended Posts

What happened to him before the game yesterday? He was named in the line up then all of a sudden didnt play.

He still hasnt played 90 mins for us and gets injured in pretty much every game. He does ok when he plays though. I think it would make more sense for him to be on the bench and play the last 20 mins etc rather than start games and make forced changes later.

Don't get me wrong he's scored some crucial goals for us but his fitness is terrible - always injured and can't last 90 minutes.

What length of contract is he on? I'd seriously consider lettig him leave in the summer and bring someone in who can play the 90 minutes each week. Easier said than done, I know that but we'd get a better return from someone fitter.

I think he has just got too much muscle on him, plus he is getting to that age when more injuries will occur. Body cant cope with it any more

Andy Cameron said he got a knock warming up and he might not start

Hopefully fit for the Hibees next Sunday

Thats what ive been saying, those thighs and hamstrings are on par with a wrestler or body builder. For a pacey footballer its just asking for injury.
