Am I losing my hearing? Surely this didn't come from the public funded BBC??

Yes i agree if it was a joke in the street then it would have been funny but in a serious news programme then it is certainly not appropriate. I also agree that if it had been about another colour or religion then all hell would have broke loose. If i remember right a sky presenter was sacked for the famous toon army joke after the tsunami disaster.

I can't help it but i see myself making the same remark but then on the other side so i can't go throwing stones when another does it. The difference is i am not in the public eye.
