Adam out for season

Recommended Posts

CHARLIE ADAM will miss out on the finale to the season due to the knee injury he suffered in training in the middle of last month.

The midfield star did the damage in an accidental challenge in training on March 12 ahead of the UEFA Cup quarter-final first leg with Sporting.

The medical team knew right away that he would need to see and specialist and an examination has revealed that will not play again this campaign.

The damage is not major and it is hoped that Charlie will be able to resume training before the season ends.

It's another blow, however, for the young midfielder who missed the CIS Cup Final through suspension.

Shame, the guy is missing out on what could be a great finish to the season, regardless what anybody thinks about him,he has been a big part of the team this season.I for one wish the young guy a speedy recovery
