We've all known that our youth system would appear to have been largely crap at bringing guys through over the last while. It was also one of the first things PLG noticed and wanted to change, but remember that he's brought in a few under 20 players already. We might not have as many Under 19s in the national team but below that it's a different story. Taken from the SFA website - included in the Under 16s, 17s and 18s there are Rangers - 6 Under 16s; 4 Under 17s; 4 Under 18s Celtic - 3 Under 16s; 3 Under 17s; 2 Under 18s Hearts - 2 Under 16s; 3 Under 17s; 1 Under 18s Hibs, Motherwell and Aberdeen have around 4 or 5 each. These squads change all the time I would imagine but there's evidence that the future may be a bit brighter. Also, according to Derek Ferguson and Jim Duffy we have a group of Under 11s and 12s that are better than we've had for quite some time. 0 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
