To be honest this stinks of public relations to me. I personally have no problem with a player from the republic signing for us or any other country race or creed for that matter. Have to agree, you wonder how stories like this get to the papers anyway. Why would we be looking at a guy from Ireland where i would imagine any other club in the SPL could afford him?
