Murrays interpretation of A "real Rangers fan"

Recommended Posts

Not in that order though, surely?

Perhaps best to get the burger and programme before taking your seat, admittedly. Oh, and buy a prize draw ticket as well, all proceeds go towards developing the club's conveyor belt of top youngsters. Remember to have a look in the superstore after the game as well. Did you buy a programme?

I wonder how it comperes to being an Ayr United fan.

Was he following his team at Rugby Park tonight, anyone know ?

He was with me and the boys and having a good few drinks before the game :)

I don't think SDM has ever once 'felt' the emotion of Rangers.

Yes, he owns the club,

yes he has accepted that he is the current 'custodian',

yes he feels the tradition in terms of the history and size of the club

yes, he has put money into the club (but only on his terms)

but, he just does not feel the gut wrenching love for the club of the true supporter.

I pity SDM as despite all the perceived power that accompanies ownership etc - he will never truly feel the emotion of the club.

Not his fault, he is aroused by money and money alone. Shame.
