Keane away....

Benitez back to rotating his team...

and now Gerrard out for 3 weeks....and we know how key he is!

Personally i never thought they could win the league anyway, they dont have near enough quality over the park to match Man Utd over a season.

QUite agree with the last time. Man U's annual post xmas juggernaut had seen them whittle down Liverpool's lead and overtake them. WIth them losing key players I just see them falling farther behind.

They need West Ham to win today. Even a draw gives Man U another point.

Liverpool are also lucky Arsenal and Chelsea arent on top form. Chelsea are just flat and dont look a patch on the team they have been under Jose and Grant.

Arsenal are just too inconsistant and have been let down by a fighting type player.

I'd totally love it if Liverpool could win it this season, but i think sadly, it's unlikely.....Rafa's made them a really tough side to beat, but they lack that killer instinct to finish teams off when it matters....Definite progress made though....Just rely way too much on Stevie G (slightly less so Torres), so they need people in to take a bit of the burden off him....
