I'd expect any organisation to take action against members who make bigoted comments publicly that are reported in the press. I wouldn't expect them to wait for an official complaint but would expect pro-active action to be taken. I'd also expect them to publicly discourage others from taking the same action. As for these numerous complaints, perhaps you can prove that there were no complaints by official channels and that it wasn't the case of these many examples being swept under the table.

Have you interviewed all SNP MP's, MSP and councillors to know this as fact? If it wasn't then you'd be able to disprove it fairly quickly. As said on this thread, considering how much we are hated by other fans in Scotland, it would be folly for a politician to openly "support" Rangers. I'm not talking about becoming a fan. I'm just referring to offer support to a constituent employer by attending as a neutral. As for the being hated by other fans, why do other parties have Rangers fans in their MSPs/MPs/Councillors? With regards to the cup final, I hardly think there would be up to minute condemnation by the FM considering both sets of fans were involved in the unrest and the facts were not fully aware. Pathetic response. She was quick enough to praise the Hibs fans, plus it was people who were employed within her constituency who were assaulted. This shows the fact that SNP Rangers fans put their party before their club.

The last 2 points are the party. The party takes no action. The previous 2 should have the party highlighting the deficiencies and action being taken by the relevant person/people. Proper channels? You're really scraping the bottom of the barrel here but there's always a get out when the SNP are concerned. Facts were asked for and supplied and now the excuses come out. The incidents were widely reported in the press and were highlighted to senior officials in a number of ways but are ignored. I've done it myself in the past but got no response.

The fact that there are no SNP MPs, MSPs or Councillors who are Rangers fans (or are willing to admit to be Rangers fans)? The fact that Rangers MSP never attends Ibrox or gives the club any support even though it is arguably the biggest institution within her constituency? The fact that the SNP leader tweeted her support for Hibs fans as they were assaulting Rangers players and refused to condemn the Hibs fans and just shamefully issued a general statement days later through a spokesman. The fact that little or no action is taken whenever SNP members/candidates/MSPs make sectarian slurs or accusations of racism about Rangers or their fans? The fact that a SNP MSP can call the Rangers captain a "grass" and no action is taken? It's inherent in the SNP. the SNP supporters on here just stick their heads in the sand.

Rangers player vindicated for being upset at Rangers getting stuffed by Celtic shocker.

They've attempted a solution in the past but the BBC just carried on with their anti-Rangers agenda. However given that there's a general reluctance elsewhere, particularly in the press, the club would be vilified or labelled as paranoid if they try and make a big issue with it by using the fans (if that's what you're suggesting),
-
You seem to be suggesting that Rangers fans sing bigoted songs while Celtic fans sing pro-IRA fans. I'd suggest that there's as much bigoted songs from Celtic fans as there are from ours, in addition to their pro-IRA songs. As for why politicians are comfortable with this, it appears that anti-Protestant bigotry is acceptable whereas ant--RC bigotry isn't. Just look at the difference in outcry between the H word and the F word.

I know officials/representatives in other parties that are happy to say they're Rangers supporters but there don't appear to be any SNP. The Westminster Supporters Club had members from 4 separate parties IIRC but none from the SNP. Again I'll ask why it that? Perhaps it's the intolerance of the SNP towards Rangers fans that prevents them rather than the wider societal issue that you're suggesting (not that I'm denying that doesn't exist to an extent).

It would depend on the circumstances of the case. Agreed that it may be difficult (although not necessarily impossible) to prove, but it doesn't mean that it doesn't exist [edit] and they may not have to do more than show they followed procedure. For example, the various land sales to one specific club by various parties over the years...

When have I ever criticised my community council? I've offered them support by way of signing petitions etc when I agree with the issues. As for your latter sentence and its implications, I've helped with running youth organisations in the past, been treasurer etc, and also served on the council of a national body of a pastime, not to mention being involved in a few organisations representing the Rangers support... Sorry, but I didn't realise that you had to serve on an organisation before you could criticise it.

It doesn't seem unreasonable to describe those who are attempting to split up the UK and cause irreversible damage to the country as the enemy. It's not just a decision that can be reversed in 4 or 5 years. No, I'm not a member of my local community council because a) don't have the time b) don't care enough about the issues. c) the council will just decide to do what they want anyway.
