Perhaps @compo’s memory is confused and he’s recalling a performance of The Winter’s Tale at the Pavilion. “Exit pursued by a bear.”
Well, Rangers could do with a 'snapper-up of unconsidered trifles'. Who is the agent for Autolycus?

I used to enjoy a good old riot back in the day I remember seeing a bear chasing a police dog at Newcastle one night 😄
Was that the old Fairs Cup in 1969? I take it by 'bear' you don't mean a furry animal?🤣

Goldson has been a great player for us but the decline has started and this should be his last year with us if we can move him in the summer. He is on big money.
Yes, but do you think Souttar would have been outpaced and out-muscled as easily? Sometimes there's not much you can do and you have to give credit to the forward. I'd like to see Dessers do that to somebody.

Shinnie at the ref every time there is a break in play trying to get some Rangers player booked! disgusting to see!.
Think of it as a compliment to us - we are murdering them.

Now for the goal difference...!

Don't care how we win tonight but my favourite way would be for Shinnie to give away a penalty and be sent off for the foul, leaving Tav to give us a 1-0.

WIthout looking, we had Foderingham in goals, Tav and Wallace full backs, Kiernan and Wilson centre halves, Holt and Halliday in the midfield, McKay in the left wing, Waghorn and Miller upfront at different times.
Ah, but can you recall many loanees with affection?🤣

Dundee are a decent side, but fuck going to watch a team of several loan signings. 4 from one English team last week, Burnley.
I know. If Scottish football ends up being a trial game every week for English clubs then the sooner we join a new European league the better. I hate the idea of us having loanees; I want a team I can reel the names off by heart. Remember Warburton? I can only remember Shiels and Black, not one of his teams.

Or Falkirk?
But not if they play like that, surely ?!?!
Ex-Ranger Ross McCabe has apparently got Airdrie playing well I think. I was thinking more about the tradition of these clubs as opposed to parvenus like Livi.

Livvy is awful, and awful to watch.
It's like shooting at fish in a barrel, and trying not to hit any of them.
All our lads need to do is maintain focus.
They're really a 'pretendy' club; I'd rather see a traditional club like Raith or Airdrie in the top flight.

Great to see the Keltic drop points. Now if we win our game in hand we could lead on goal difference!

Fundamentally, the problem with Lammers at Rangers wasn't the positions he played in .... simply that he was a shite footballer.
And there's me thinking I was being clever.....

@Rousseau thought Lammers should've been played as a 9, so we can completely dismiss his input. 😃
Lammers was certainly deep-lying and capable of not only being a false 9 but a false 7,8,3,2,1 etc.

“Deep lying centre forward”: Don Revie, Manchester City, 1955. Nothing’s new, not even Manchester City.
Also the great Hungarian Hidegkuti (sp)in the Puskas team.

It's very rare for January window signings to have a significant impact immediately. No pre season, unfamiliar team mates, new country etc. I think that's why myself and many other fans are leaning towards Shankland. He's ready made for our league and will score goals in this team. I would hope we at least test Hearts resolve with a bid.
I think we've baulked at the fee. Sure he would be a success but no resale value given his age. Now that Dessers has started to score and Danilo to come back we maybe have enough scoring power on the flanks with Sima to return also.

As I’ve said it’s a Decoy lol, so does that mean BB Is staying and we just played him solely on the basis of loaning him to another club for a higher fee, then I suppose the question is are we getting jefte and BB stays and has a change of heart and signs another long term contract for a ageing player which tbh makes no sense, or is the Galatasaray move Just more false reporting Bull Sh#% ? Personally I’d keep Ridvan get Jefte on loan till we can buy him In the summer transfer market when we can afford the fees due to FFP rules Thoughts anyone Is it time to let BB move on?
Yea. He's not one for the future is he? We need 2 players for each position and no loanees please. for LB we have Jefte and we need another though Sterling can play there.

Clement doesn't fancy Cifuentes, that much is obvious.
Ridvan has always been a bundle of energy and good at getting forward.
Why do we call Yilmaz by his first name but Cifu is never referred to as Jose?

Good tip. On the face of it.
First: catch a GP.
Second: on further reflection and remembering the many dental students I used to know three score years ago, you’re maybe better just to try a bit of thread and a slamming door.
I speak from experience; the ones I've met are up to speed with all the latest technology.

I can't even get an appointment with a "socialist" dentist these days. They're all too busy coining it in doing veneers and Botox.
Don't broadcast this too loudly, but get your GP to refer you to a dental hospital; the students will do it for free if you are an interesting case. (Don't worry, they will not let novices loose on you.)

Think we can all now get off Dessers' back. He is no Lammers.

This idea comes from the prawn-sandwich munchers who have no real conception of the game. I once met a middle class 'fan'. I asked which team he supported. "Oh, I support all teams really," he quoth. No idea of partisanship.
