We have a total of 20,000 for two friendlies over 2 days, they have 19,000 for 1 friendly. We have 17,500 for our opening league fixture, they have requested 22,000 for theirs (1 week after ours). Not much difference to be honest.

Now if they were getting circa 30-40,000 every game and we weren't, then we may have a case, but that is not happening (yet).

PS - all clubs should be given green light to have full stadiums now.

What difference does it make having two friendlies over 2 days , this virus must be super intelligent ?

  2. The club have announced , they have written to the SPFL telling them they intend to raise the league flag on Sept 18th , Well done the club , a full stadium and a very emotional day .

  3. The irony of irony is that it’s RM who is trying to get this mess sorted , given his part in setting up Rangers First and his part in the death of Rangers first and the creation of this monstrosity .

All the warnings that were given at the hustings not only by myself but plenty others were ignored and poopooed by the usual suspects ably helped by James Blair , the only lawyer who doesn’t understand “ conflicts of interest “ .

If it wasn’t for the millions that they control , this monstrosity should be killed off ASAP .

  4. I have absolute trust in this D of F and management team , since we settled the squad their hits far and away outweigh any misses , replacing Stewart with Sakala and Zungu with Lundstram without having to pay any real fees other than the usual signing on fees is a great bit of business , albeit I hold the right to say I’ve not seen either play so am , playing my joker and the ability to say they are both rotten if that’s what it turns out to be in 6 months lolololol .

I won’t be buying these myself but I’m struggling to see the basis for criticism. Does anyone have anything specific beyond “I don’t like this”?

This is being sold by the club as a way of putting money into the club and the opportunity to win gifts and experiences not available elsewhere , fine , I get that .

However this is going to be a listed currency in an unregulated market where the value can and will fluctuate , Bitcoin probably the best known and most heavily monitized coin has seen its value fluctuate by up to 30% on a daily basis , this can be a really dodgy think to get involved in and I’m just really uneasy in the club promoting something that may leave some gullible fans with nothing to show for it .

i guess te directors have a duty to take any money going in fairness....

Don’t agree mate , just because other clubs are doing it doesn’t make it right , especially from a Turkish company , they have just had a guy called Ozer , who’s done a runner with 2 billion quid of investors money , and they will not get a bean back .

Hopefully this mob we have teamed up with are on the level , but as I said this is totally unregulated .

Remember the index where you could buy shares in players and as they were transferred etc their values moved , it went Pete tong as well and everyone that was involved lost the lot .

Really disappointed in the club .

  7. Really really disappointed that we are asking fans to buy this stuff . It’s totally unregulated and as close to a Ponzi scheme as you can get . Crypto currencies should be banned for any amateur investor , and I already said I’m really disappointed that the club have put their names to this .

  8. If you take a back seat and consider we are in the middle of a World Cup campaign , a campaign that’s already floundering , this tournament should have been a godsend to Clark . He should have used this to get the younger players into the team and settled , given they are away for nearly a month .

However what will happen is that he has wasted the first game , will no doubt waste the second game and then , and only then maybe change for the last dead rubber .

Fast forward back to the World Cup qualifiers and we are back in a whole heap of trouble , there are players who are miles off form and shouldn’t get near the Scotland team , but ............

Why would it have been poor leadership?

On what do you base your assessment that the share price is "about right"?

So you're saying issuing shares to Club 1872 at 20p 10 days ago but charging the support a 25% premium is good leadership? :D

Are you certain the shares Club1872 bought , were issued by the club and didn’t come from DK .

I suppose either "plan" only stretches as far as players are prepared to stay at Rangers or how much other clubs are willing to offer for our players. In reality, our plans only ever really run from year to year, since we have little actual control on who stays or who leaves. And the more successful we are, the less likely we are to retain our better players ... as this summer will surely prove.

That’s actually my point , we have  the vast majority signed up bar Goldson  and Kamara , 12 months left , the rest have at least 24 months bar the older players , none have cost us serious money ........

  11. I keep on hearing we need to sell players , however given where we are financially right now , what is the best route to go down ,buy up and coming players from well known leagues , Kamara, Aribo , Balogun , Helander , etc etc and keep them in a successful team for 4 or 5 years and let them leave for a small fee , or cash in and take the risk of buying potentially better players for inflated fees ......... discuss

  12. I fully support Robert Marshals latest efforts , however given his part in the Rf debacle which allowed club1872 to start its quite ironic how this has turned out.

Ive passed my details onto him so hopefully he gets enough support . I have absolutely no faith in this current board , the whole debacle around the Craig Houston affair ended it for me , since then there has been no meetings , virtually no correspondence and no elections , or at least that I am aware off.

  13. There is going to need to be a serious uptake from the other clubs next season , the points won are now divided by 5 instead of just 4 , for our country coefficient, it makes a huge difference . That’s why some of the smaller countries do so well , their small teams pick up loads of europa league points , will be interesting to see how this knew competition affects things .
