IMHO, it is still quite simple. Safe-guarding Rangers shares from "hostile" / "non-supporter" takeovers* is one aim, getting money into the club by buying new shares IF/SHOULD they become available the other aim. Club 1872 as the supporters' main vehicle to get a large chunk of shares under "one shareholder slot" should "simply" allow those wanting to invest a choice of how they want their money used. (I haven`t listened to the podcast just yet and don`t know what Laura has said.)

*As distant a notion this might seem in the here and now.

So there is no progress for Rangers , good glads that cleared up .

We only need 10% to do many of those things , or so we were repeatedly told in the past .

    None if he is unsuccessful.

However please see point 5, of 14, in his, ahem, narrow manifesto.

"Immediate temporary suspension of the Club1872Legacy scheme to be sought."

Narrow manifesto , at least he has one , again I ask you what progress is there for Rangers in this .

  3. When Borna hit that marvellous free kick last night and the keeper saved it , did anyone notice that Kemar actually saved Liege s defender from scoring an own goal.

Also just how many fantastic goals have we scored in Europe against top class teams,  I know a goals a goal , but we have scored some absolute beauties in the last few seasons ?

Not sure how you can say that. If C1872 has serious cash to invest, I really doubt that the club would refuse it. It's up to C1872 to let the club know. The club is obviously open to new investors, given the 2 or 3 that appeared in the last 18 months, and current investors increasing their stakes

C1872 don't appear to be in a position to invest in the club anyway so what's the point of the club asking them to invest. They're having to raise cash for King's shares. It seems crazy to make a decision of where you want to invest your cash in 3 years time when we don't know the state of the club at that point.

To be fair to club1872, they need to watch as any money they have needs to be used to keep their shareholding as is , without getting further dilution.

However to go from that position to the DK situation is the same as walking your first steps to beating Usain Bolt in the 100 m

  5. How the last 32 draw works .

The draw will comprise 12 group winners, 12 group runners-up and eight third-placed sides from the Champions League who will drop into the Europa League knockout phase.
The clubs will be split into two pots, with the 12 group winners and the four best third-ranked teams in the UEFA Champions League group stage all seeded.
No team can play a club from their Europa League group or a side from the same national association at this stage.

  6. Our coefficient points are up around the 24.250 mark , another small nudge and we are right into decent seeding areas .

A victory in the group pays €570,000 and a draw €190,000. Also, each group winner earns €1,000,000 and each runner-up €500,000. Reaching the knock-out stage triggers additional bonuses: €500,000 for the round of 32, €1,100,000 for the round of 16, €1,500,000 for the quarter-finals and €2,400,000 for the semi-finals.

I didn't recognise us tonight, especially in the first half but we've found a new way to win. Bit worried about Morelos though - he just doesn't look like the player who was our talisman a while back.

Sometimes when a team changes slightly it can do that to a particular player , for 2 years everything went through him , not now .But we are winning , even ugly .
