  1. Truth is, we simply don't know what the story is unless Chris Graham happens to chime in here or someone asks him why he brought Bill McMurdo into that CRO article. I did sort of get the impression he was hinting that McMurdo is going to be tagged as persona non grata and if that were the case, then I could completely understand it, although I can also see it from Bluedell's point of view too.
  2. For those who were bad mouthing the standard of Annan Athletic, you might be interested to know that they almost beat QotS 3-2 in the League Cup this afternoon. QotS managed to equalize and make it 3-3 on 92 minutes and it's now going to extra time. As I said before, Annan are a decent wee team.
  3. It would certainly be a strange move. I'm probably barking up the wrong tree anyway. Chris Graham was probably just having a dig at Bill McMurdo, although there's clearly a link between McLaughlin spinning PR on behalf of Toxic Jack/Media House and Bill McMurdo doing likewise.
  4. I find it interesting that Chris Graham brings Bill McMurdo into that piece. Could it suggest that Merlin is going to be told he's unwelcome at Ibrox like Spiers and the scrote McLaughlin have been?
  5. Halliday can play on the left, but if Eustace comes in a player will obviously need to drop out to accommodate him because I doubt if the manager will change his system to accommodate an extra midfielder. Not that the player to drop out will necessarily be Halliday though, it could just as easily be Law or Holt, so we might see something like this: Foderingham Tavernier - Kiernan - Wilson - Wallace Law - Eastace - Halliday McKay - Waghorn - Templeton or this.......... Foderingham Tavernier - Kiernan - Wilson - Wallace Holt - Eastace - Halliday McKay - Waghorn - Templeton
  6. Interesting question mate. BBC Scotland basically fund Alba with something like £15m of license fee cash per year from the BBC Scotland budget and all Alba programs are actually broadcast via Pacific Quay despite the channel mostly filming and producing it's content in it's other studios like Stornaway, Inverness and Portree. Bottom line is we don't know, but in theory it's possible the situation could escalate to the extent that it affects the coverage of our games on Alba.
  7. Seems like a bit of a gamble if he's been struggling with his fitness, but if it's improved enough for the manager and he thinks the player will strengthen the squad, then it'll hopefully prove to be another good signing.
  8. Don't forget to post your predictions for the Peterhead game some time between now and kick-off!! Do it here - Predictions for Rangers v Peterhead - League Cup R1 (GPL game 2)
  9. The Rangers haters at BBC Scotland can't help themselves. There's no way they'll completely stop covering Rangers news and matches.
  10. I'm not really sure what your point is here. It's a pretty poor response to what was a completely genuine answer from me to your original post.
  11. I can't imagine that the Club would release any official statement about it. Chris Graham's well enough connected to have his facts straight on this and Graham Spiers was blabbing about it all afternoon on Twitter without denying it or anything, so it's bound to be correct.
  12. Some good photos from Willie Vass today as well - Rangers training 31st July 2015 by Willie Vass
  13. I agree with a lot of what you're saying and the ironic thing is that in one sense I'm delighted the Club's taking action against these arseholes, but I just can't help feeling that it's not going to help us and that if anything it'll just make them more venomous.
  14. That's exactly what I think will happen after taking these actions of removing their press privileges.
  15. Removing the arseholes from the press room isn't a magic wand though Tb. It's not going to magically create impartial reporting of Rangers in the Scottish press & media. That's not going to happen. We aren't dealing with kids where taking away their sweetie privileges might be a useful tactic when they misbehave.
  16. What a total and utter bawbag.
  17. Excellent and thanks for the updates cb.
  18. I've always maintained similar views on this. Vanguard Bears organising protests at Pacific Quay never did any good and banning the BBC from Ibrox (or removing their press privileges) never did any good either. It's not just a waste of time, it's akin to shaking a wasp nest.
  19. Just merged these 2 threads. If there's any more names added to the list stick them in here instead of starting another new thread please guys.
  20. Don't forget to post your predictions for the Peterhead game at Ibrox on Sunday! Do it here - Predictions for Rangers v Peterhead - League Cup R1 (GPL game 2)
  21. Their game against Coleraine was on Friday night, so presumably the came back over on Saturday.
  22. When Annan beat Ally McCoist's experienced 1st team squad at Ibrox towards the end of our Division 3 (4th tier) campaign in 2013, that's what I'd call humiliating. That said, it was results like that defeat at Ibrox and many out on the road as well which showed that these wee part-time teams are no mugs.
  23. Ian Durrant's post match reaction.......
  24. Highlights.........
