I read somewhere about SFA not giving registrations to deserters as that void's the embargo, I'll believe that when I see it.... FIFA will be involved as players unions have contacted them SFA could cause all sort of shit, could be real trouble all round.

It all depends on the calibre of player we get but even if teams have artificial pitches we should beat them easily.

Unworkable obviously you would play your "franchise" rivals home and away. Not sure how they would split 42 teams into "AFC" and "NFC", not even sure how they do because teams close together in geographical location play in different conference leagues. However can't see it, not relevant to proper football .

I thought you were going to talk about the MLS system which is more suitable (although they seem to have a split into different sections). It is difficult to implement although with the salary cap and 3 designated players that can go above the salary cap stops the cheap foreigners coming in. Plus that type of system would promote youth development in the country.

If the SFA stick by the transfer ban then we will be furious even though it has been found illegal.

Even if we goto Division 3 they may still apply sanctions and pretty much screw the club over.

Unfortunately petitions never work, the man is beyond reproach and says what he wants without consequences which should not happen. His comments in the past few months alone have been nothing short of a disgrace and his excuses for making said comments have been pathetic

I'm getting really worried now. I can't for the life of me understand why so many of our fans want us to start in Div. 3 knowing it could spell the end of several SPL clubs. It can only be for the reason that we want to see Scottish football stuffed as some kind of revenge. Yes, I appreciate that the integrity of the SFL means that a club cannot parachute straight in at the top - that's their rules after all - but for our 'sins' banishment from the SPL should be sufficient punishment. And there has to be an exception made: you'd think that the likes of P. Thistle would welcome the extra revenue we bring.

 

If in 2-3 years half the SPL clubs are in liquidation then how does that profit us with no one to play? Forget the English leagues - it aint going to happen. So why destroy our bread and butter for some fit of pique. It's crazy. Mutally assured destruction.

Personally don't really want to see clubs go down the admin/liquidation route. However some clubs have acted very bitter and if they go they go imo, they also wanted us out of the SPL and therefore only option is Div 3 they made the choice 10 said no so they can lie in the financial mess. No team should rely on 2-3 matches against us a year for their budgets, doesn't make sense.

Also seeing comments about 12-20 clubs going under because of this how is that even possible at best 10-12 clubs will struggle where did 20 come from?

Also the constant delays in decisions means we are probably going to have at best 2 weeks for a pre-season and a squad rebuild if allowed, shambolic treatment altogether.

Plus the fact our governing bodies have acted badly towards us means an even sour taste in my mouth. This past few months have alienated me towards football in general.

I browse twitter for opinions/news on current events, don't feel the need to sign up to it however.

Funny how often people take his words out context. White man speak with forked tongue as Geronimo would say. We should be putting pressure on him to leave. Someone should produce a list of all the misquotes he has had.

Yeah imo sanction have to been put in place now, not in a few years time just to appease the SPL clubs.

If Rangers are reformed as a newco with "Rangers" somewhere in the name, then I don't think there is any doubt that we retain the history; as I've said a number of times on here if you check the UEFA web site you will see that AC and ACF Fiorentina are regarded as the same club with the same history.

But if we were to buy another club (East Stirling were mentioned some time ago) and rename it then I think the comparisons with Airdrie & Airdrie Utd are accurate. Airdireonians died and a new club was born.
