Hard to see how much white there is on top but looks quite good to me, much better than this season's button down slimline anyway. I have always preferred v-necks even shallow ones like this. As straightforward red, white and blue as possible suits me just fine.

Hibernian face battle with lower league clubs over gate revenue...
BrahimHemdani replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Hibs are out of order on this one; it was a package deal and the fact that it has worked out differently than imagined doesn't change that. There should be no change for this season but the SPFL could say YES but from next season; then if Hibs are still in the Championship and win the League they will miss out again. But they are correct on the change of dates. -

No, it gives us a potentially massive advantage knowing what we have to do on the last day. -

Ms Budge is 100% correct and Rangers should support her letter of complaint. In fact the clubs should just agree to play the game as originally scheduled and challenge the authorites to declare it null and void. If Hibs and Rangers win all there remaining games the 2nd spot will not be decided till the last day and it's not mathematically impossible for QoS to be involved as well. This would give Rangers a massive advantage knowing what, if anything, we have to do v Hearts; all the games should be moved or none should be moved as Ms Budge says. -
Celtic have won some matches and you might even say punched above Scotland's weight in the Europa League this season but looking ahead to the day when we return to Europe the best we can probably hope for would be ELQ2 where we might face teams from Russia, Ukraine, Holland, Turkey, Belgium, Greece etc and if we qualified as 3rd in the SPFL we would be in the ELQ1 where we might have to go to Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Bosnia, etc and these would not be comfortable games at all. The chances of us getting through 3 or 4 qualifying rounds at the first time of asking have to be fairly remote I'd say. Even more so in the unlikely event of it being the CL.

There is no relationship whatsoever between the two. The Court was dealing with a technicality over the names of the old and new companies, the SFA have specific F&P criteria and in any event are a law unto themselves as others would have it. AIM would have been an even bigger hurdle but he managed to avoid that by being unable to find a NOMAD, he can't avoid the SFA if he wants to have control over the Club.

I'm guessing this one is going to be very popular, three course Indian meal with all the trimmings for £10.75 and Rangers Historian as guest speaker. Robert is keen to have suggested Rangers Era or Topics (football only please, no boardroom stuff) for his speech. We are restricted to 32 and it's first come first served, not just for the poppadoms; so get your bookings in asap lads. Remember, I need 12 to guarantee the event breaks even at this price and 20 to get the restaurant to ourselves.

Sounds like he's really up for the cause.

It's very strange to me that Templeton doesn't play more often period. -

I cannot see him being match fit to play in the first team before the end of the league season and would you then risk him.in the play offs ahead of those who got us there? -
That's a reasonable suggestion JC but not everyone may wish to do that then it becomes a bit awkward. I was toying with doing that but wanted to keep the basic price as low as possible. There is also the situation that some will only drink soft drinks so it wouldn't really be fair. We are carrying a small surplus as you can see made up of numbers being above the break even last time, a few odd 50p's and interest received. The break even this time to cover the guest is 12 people.

IMPORTANT EDIT 3 MAY 2015 - DATE CHANGE TO 17 MAY 2015 As a result of Rangers finishing 3rd in the League, the date of the dinner has been moved to Sunday the 17th of May which is the date of our home game in the Play-Off Quarter Final. The dinner will be at 5.30pm for 6.00pm except in case of extra time when it will be 6.00pm for 6.30pm. The venue is the Indian Brasserie Restaurant, 560 Paisley Road West, Glasgow G51 1RF (just round the corner from Copland Rd). The owner will close the restaurant for us (up to 9.00pm) if we can bring at least 20 people. Menu Spiced poppadoms will be provided as we gather. They will then offer a Chefs Platter of Starters consisting of: Mixed Pakora; Chicken Chaat, Aloo Tikki, Seekh Kebaba and Chicken Tikka. Guests will then have a free choice from the full a la carte menu featuring: Tandoori chicken, lamb, king prawns etc; and a full range of cooked to order in-house specials including Korma, Bhoona, Biryani, Chasni, Jaipuri, Masala, Nashli, Malaidar, Shakuti, Rogan Josh, Balti, Patia, Dhansac etc. Nan bread, chapattis and boiled rice as required. European dishes are available if required: Sirloin Steak Breaded Haddock & Chips Chicken & Chips but these need to be pre-ordered. A variety of Desserts will be available including the traditional Indian hot Gulab Jamin with ice cream. Guest Speaker Rangers Historian, Robert McElroy “the standard bearer for Rangers historians everywhere” http://www.thegallantpioneers.co.uk/ has very kindly agreed (or to put it another way he’ll do anything for a free meal) to be our Guest of Honour. Assuming we get the required numbers to have the restaurant to ourselves, he will give a talk on "Rangers: The War Years". If we don’t have the restaurant to ourselves then he will set a Rangers Quiz and will be open to questions from the floor. Price & Payment The price for all of the above will be an extremely modest £10.75 per person. In view of the low price I do not propose to take deposits on this occasion but if anyone pays and subsequently gives reasonable notice of cancellation we should be able to arrange a refund. For those who have attended the previous dinners the same bank details will apply for payment. Please quote your Gersnet name as a reference. For anyone who hasn’t saved those details or newcomers please PM me for the bank account details. Please post to the thread when you have sent payment and I will confirm.
