  1. So HMRC haven't actually said they would have blocked any and all CVA proposals just this particular one involving Charles Green and the mystery men?
  2. Have HMRC actually said such a thing?, the only reference to that that I've seen is from Duff & Phelps.
  3. They may have wanted a newco I'm not convinced they wanted a straight liquidation carried out by someone other than themselves.
  4. I'm not convinced that there's won't be a few more twists and turns in this gut-wrenching saga to come.
  5. That's just nonsense. Anybody else would have tried to run us as a football club something Craig Whyte never even attempted to do. There would have been no Ticketus deal without Craig Whyte our PAYE and NIC's would have been paid by anybody else but Craig Whyte.
  6. You are a f*&king idiot if you think any Rangers fan is enjoying todays news, I doubt anybody wanted a CVA any more than I did but hey don't let the facts get in the way eh?
  7. Of course I do, I'm a pragmatist not a fantasist, I cannot see how a liquidation would offer HMRC any less than Greens newco offer.
  8. Richard Wilsons' latest offering.....
  9. Can't really blame them for taking that stance, if the roles were reversed I'd expect us to do the same.
  10. There's too much focus on Green and not enough on who's pulling his strings. Green by his own admission is a mere salesman who will be out the door at the first opportunity, but what will he leave behind? All this this talk of £20m here £30m there, 19 players on a list 5 of them at the Euros just goes to show that they still think Rangers fans have handles on their heads, it's all too reminiscent of last years £25m transfer warchest, front ended, yada yada yada....
  11. If that was indeed the case then there would be no need to have that caveat included in the CVA proposal, it wasn't inserted for fun it was inserted for a reason.
  12. From the CVA proposal. It's pretty clear and self-explanatory. The CVA proposal clearly states where the money will go and what can be done with the money, are you claiming the CVA proposal is false?
  13. Fair enough, but the means exists in the CVA proposal for season ticket monies to be used to meet trading costs despite what Green says.
  14. We don't even have a CVA yet so how can we meet the trading costs of one. You can't place season ticket money into an account till you actually collect season ticket money though, but when it is collected it can be used to meet the trading costs despite what Green said in any interview.
  15. Correct, they can think what they like just as they can do as they like.
  16. Contradicting your own CVA proposal does seem somewhat odd.
  17. If you were a major creditor reading all these claims of monies ready for investment what would you think of accepting a CVA pot of less than £5m?
  18. That would be the theory but the reality may well be different.
  19. This seems to contradict any claims of an "escrow", no? http://www.rangers.co.uk/staticFiles/c9/b3/0,,5~177097,00.pdf
  20. They may be of the opinion that liquidation offers them the best return.
  21. Got sent this, being appointed by the Bank of England in the first case relating to a new law shows a certain gravitas and degree of respect of competence. http://www.bdo.uk.com/find-a-partner/malcolm-cohen http://www.r3.org.uk/index.cfm?page=1259 http://www.accountancyage.com/aa/news/2079611/bdo-liquidators-called-mortgage-company The latter page now has a link to a story on us click it and it takes you to a few more stories about us, no earth shattering revelations but interesting nonetheless.
