Drop Jig, Foster and Hutton from that starting 11. Replace them with Streete, Mbabu and Bigirimana and that's already a MASSIVE improvement and that's without even see any of those NU lads play.

 

Add Ferguson who by all accounts has some pace and a good delivery and again a huge improvement to what we have already.

 

Promotion should be our No1 priority right now, anything else is a disaster IMO.

I know of at least one member of the Board who was abused on FB as a result of what an individual saw as a delay; so it is understandable that they decided to publish and be damned.

 

 

 

Not quite what I said. My opinion is that there is nothing to prevent them publishing on FB but it is at least implied that the Club has first shout. However, if the Club were given the opportunity and refused then I think the RFB did the right thing in publishing themselves.

 

 

 

I regard it as a grave error of judgement on the part of the Secretary to include that comment and also whoever was responsible for publishing in that format and if that was the whole Board then they all made a mistake.

 

It was a cheap shot and I agree that it should be deleted asap and it would be better if an apology was issued as well.

Yeah, they will need a CEO and FD, but they can recruit them afterwards. The current board survived a while with only Somers and Easdale on it so it's hypocritical for them to accuse King of this as well.

I don't doubt that there are potential directors out there who may be better qualified than Gilligan and Murray - but are any of them prepared to put themselves in the line of fire for all the crap that is coming from the other sides PR machines, crap that will intensify as the EGM approaches. You only need to think of the naked threats that the poison dwarf issued against Jim McColl when he was involved with the requisitioners.
